News News Boeing Names Valencia-based Sunvair 'Outstanding Supplier' Sunvair Inc., a Valencia-based repair station specializing in landing gear and hydraulic valve overhaul, was honored this week as an Outstanding Supplier in Support of Boeing Programs for 1999. "Sunvair was chosen because of exceptional on-time delivery, competitive pricing and superior quality," said George Armstrong (center), a buyer for Boeing Aerospace Operations. Sunvair owner John Waschak (right) accepted the award saying "We have always committed ourselves to exceptional quality. This award is a result of that commitment from our outstanding employees at Sunvair" Company CEO Tim Waschak (left) was also on hand when Sunvair received the honors. It was Sunvair's second award for 1999, having been nominated earlier by Boeing for the Federal Government's Small Business Award of Excellence.
