Sunvair Aerospace Group, headquartered in Valencia CA., has added Rene Segovia to the executive management team. In this new role, Rene will serve as General Manger, overseeing the day-to day operations for Sunvair Landing Gear, and Aerospace Plating, co-located in Valencia, CA.

Rene brings 20+ years of leadership and operational expertise, having previously held executive leadership roles for industry leaders in the MRO segment. Rene has a demonstrated track record of improved operational output, cost reduction, and mentoring and leadership development. Rene obtained his bachelor’s degree from FIU, and master’s in business administration from NSU.

“Rene brings with him outstanding leadership abilities, a robust operational track record, and a wealth of experience in the aerospace industry. He will be instrumental in driving the ongoing expansion and prosperity of our MRO enterprises. He will play a key role in the continued growth and success of our MRO businesses”, said Kerry Jarandson, Group CEO and President.

Aerospace Plating has received final endorsement from Bell Helicopter to provide plating and NDT services for several Bell Procurement Specs (BPS).

Sunvair Incorporated has signed a contract renewal with Hawaiian Airlines to provide landing gear repair and overhaul services for their Boeing 717 fleet.
